Ans: The Directive Principles of state policy are the guidelines listed in the
constitution and directs the various government agencies while making policy.
2. What are the
constitutional directions to state for establishing the women’s and children’s
welfare?
Ans: a) Equal wages to both men and women for the same work.
b) Maternity benefit to women.
c) Prevention of exploitation of children.
d) facility for children to grow healthily.
e) Providing free and compulsory education.
3. Explain the uniform code
of law to all?
Ans: Uniformity is compulsory to avoid discrimination or inferiority in all the
fields. Protection to all the people without discrimination and treating
everyone as equal in social justice.
4. Why are the states
directed to enforce the prohibition of liquor?
Ans: Drinking spoils health. It leads to financial problems in the family and
increased exploitation of women. Therefore, the constitution has directed all
the state governments to enforce the prohibition of liquor.
